Integrated left ventricle-mitral valve modeling

The integrated LV-MV model was developed to investigate ischemic mitral regurgitation following immediate myocardial infarction. This structure was based on biventricular model and it was extruded to include outflow track and MV plane. Then, papillary muscle and MV leaflets were inserted in left ventricle. Finally, functionally equivalent chordae structure was built to finalize the whole structure.
